Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and innovative 3D jewellery designs based on client requirements, sketches, and design concepts while ensuring production feasibility and exceptional craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D jewellery models for rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and custom pieces.
- Convert hand sketches, references, and concepts into production-ready CAD designs.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
- Modify and refine existing designs based on client feedback.
- Prepare technical files and specifications for manufacturing.
- Ensure dimensions, stone settings, and structural details meet production standards.
- Stay updated with jewellery design trends and industry techniques.
- Maintain an organized library of design files and projects.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience as a Jewellery CAD Designer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in jewellery CAD software such as Rhino, MatrixGold, JewelCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
- Knowledge of gemstones, diamond settings, and precious metals is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
